I've always had a love for the arts. Be it creating, singing, dancing, writing, drawing, and just about anything that could showcase my GOD given talents, gifts, and abilities.
I'm a poet by nature but I love to create with my hands. This wasn't encouraged until I got older and actually married to the love of my life. This encouragement not only came from him, but his mother, the late great Detri Oliver. She could sense my love for creating and shared her knowledge of gemstones, paintings, beading, and so much more. She was one of the best artist I know and she is and will always be the motivation behind a lot that I do creatively especially pertaining to jewelry.
Now the name HOLB, was inspired by my 5 year old granddaughter. When she was born, I nicknamed her my lil ladybug and a couple years later the brand - House of Ladybug was born. HOLB Wellness Store opened 2024 and now we have HOLB Jewelry.
A childhood pastime is now a passion I love doing so much - creating handmade jewelry. Coming on my journey as I pay homage to my forever SHERO - we miss you Phoenix.
